Segway Off Road Tours at Harpers Ferry Adventure Center
If you love adventure and the outdoors, our Guided Harpers Ferry Adventure Center Segway Off Road Tours are just what you are looking for. This fun and challenging tour allows you the opportunity to be in control of your every move while mastering balance, reflexes, coordination, speed, and destination. You will test your skills and challenge yourself in an obstacle course and then have the freedom to play! Bring your friends and family and show them how it’s done. Since Segways are less damaging to natural terrain than even hiking boots, you can enjoy the beautiful ride atop our mountain all while having eco friendly fun. Segways travel up to 12 mph and are battery powered: they are both quiet and eco friendly. The rugged tires on the all terrain X2 are specifically designed to maneuver varied terrain and handle the most demanding application. A Segway with a rider on it can roll over the average healthy human foot without injury. Be sure to bring your camera because riding through our mountain may provide photo ops of roaming deer, bald eagles and other animals. This guided tour is 1.5 hours long and takes 6 guests and 1 guide. Your Segway Off Road Tour begins with a safety training session from your guide on how to position your body on the Segway, get on and off, turn, and control your speed. Then you will engage in an obstacle course which will challenge your every move. Finish out your tour with a ride along the trails where you will observe the grand views atop our mountain.
