Alfama Tour

In his Tour you can visit beautiful architecture, narrow streets of old Lisbon. You can see traces of the Roman occupation and Arabic, the most dominant civilizations in the past. It was rebuilt by the locals after the earthquake of 1755.

In this Tour you can see some of the most important monuments of Lisbon such as:

The Santa Engrácia Church or National Pantheon.

The Church of Santa Engrácia is a 17th-century monument. In the National Pantheon are buried important Portuguese personalities, like Almeida Garret, Amália Rodrigues and others. Also cenotaphs of Luís de Camões, Vasco da Gama, and others.

Monastery of St. Vicente

The Church or Monastery of St. Vicente is a 17th-century church and monastery. It is one of the most important monasteries in the country.

The cloisters are also interesting with 18th century tiles, telling the fables of La Fontaine.

St. George Castle

The St. Jorge castle is a fortified castle and dates from medieval period of Portuguese history, and it is one of the main interesting places to visit.

The castle and the city of Lisbon were conquered from Moors by Afonso Henriques.The taking of the castle helped Christians forces to maintain the defense of Lisbon until the end of the 12th century.

City Center Tour

The Commerce Plaza (the biggest plaza in Europe). This plaza is also called as Terreiro do Paço, is where the royal palace stood for over two centuries until 1755, when it was destroyed by the 1755 Earthquake.
